Hi Shari, I loved the segment on placing the art near the sidechair to become a part of the grouping. I find that most people are afraid to hang artwork lower than what is perceived to be the rule of thumb/norm. The grouping included functional accessories as well, the greenery arrangement. I feel that most aren't educated on this subject and think an accesory is just that, an accessory. An accessory is an object that completes a room, the finishing touches. There are two types of accessories, decorative and functional. Decorative are pictures, plaques, figurines and photos while functional are mirrors, planters, sconces, vases etc. This type of accessory is practical as well as decorative. Functional accessories are what really pull the grouping together while adding texture and dimension, something that I often see lacking. I wish you would do a segment explaining this subject.
