This article should be retitled “How to cut rope lights.” Nowhere do you specify how to install them. I hate click bait & wish people would tag/title their website content accurately! Rookie move.

I do trust all of the concepts you have presented to
your post. They’re really convincing and will certainly work.

Nonetheless, the posts are very brief for novices.

Hi Jeff,
These are manufacturer’s suggested cutting points. The roping can be cut anywhere, but it voids the warranty.

I note your instructions, only cut at the designated points. I just want to understand why. Can anyone explain why you can only cut at these 3 foot points, but not somewhere else in between? Thanks
