I don’t think you could use a high wattage bulb in there because the inner shade would be too close. Definitely and accent lamp, entry, sofa table, hallway, etc.

It’s different, but I like it! But definitly only as an accent, I would think the light would be diffused to much for it to be a task light, say for reading.
