I love mine. You have to get one. You can buy the k cups or you can buy the little empty k cup and put whatever kind of coffee you like in it. Its great.

Very true, Linda. I’ve thrown away old coffee that actually had mold on it. This happens in the summer here when the air is so moist and hot…and I don’t drink as much coffee!!! Maybe Keurig for summer – Mr. coffee for winter?

I have a keurig at home and a Keurig Breville at work. Love them both. I do use occasionally at home the cup that you put your own coffee in. But I think that the kcups are pretty reasonable. I buy them on line and love the teas also. You never waste any coffee by letting it get old and stale by using the K-cups. To me that was more expensive.

Debbie, what wonderful information that I’m sure everyone will appreciate. The Keurig Platinum sounds like the model to have! To your other point, we miss doing room by room as well, and are currently working on acquiring sponsors for a third season of Around the House. It will be smaller project though, nothing on the scale of room by room, but educational, inspiring and hopefully entertaining. thank you so much for taking the time to give your input.

Mary Ann, maybe starting smaller is a good idea to make sure I actually use it! My routine is make a pot and drink it for a couple days, just reheating in the microwave, so fresh each time would seem pretty decadent!
