This unusual combination of both red and green grapes, cream cheese, brown sugar and more is so delicious you’ll have to give the recipe out to everyone who tastes it!
I know, it sounds weird. And when you see the ingredients, some of them sound like a strange mix, but my Mom swore that it was wonderful and so I made it for a church function. Well, I had so many people come up and ask me for the recipe that I thought you might enjoy it as well. Here goes…
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs. green grapes
- 2 lbs. red grapes
Approximately 4 cups of each - 8 oz. cream cheese
- 8 oz. sour cream
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 ½ cups walnuts
- Brown sugar
Instructions:

1. Mix cream cheese, sour cream, sugar and vanilla.

2. Add grapes and 1 cup of the chopped walnuts to the cream cheese mixture.

3. Put grape mixture in a serving dish and sprinkle with the brown sugar.
4. Refrigerate overnight and then sprinkle with remaining walnuts right before serving.
I haven’t met anyone who doesn’t like this refreshing salad, so you might want to consider making a double recipe!!
