Is your beautiful view through your window shadings spoiled by bugs and debris stuck in the vanes? Our new CamilyWand safely removes those moths and other bugs easily, to keep your investment clean and your view clear of pesky critters.

Invented by a longtime interior designer, Lynn Severson, CamilyWand is manufactured in the USA to help homeowners take care of the critter problem in a safe, easy and simple manner.

Our cleaning tool is an extension pole with a sticky tip attached to the threaded end of the pole. After the pole is inserted into the vane opening of the blind, you move it in the air to the bug or debris, attach the CamilyTip to the bug, lift the pole and remove it from the vane. It is designed for Silhouettes ®, Nantuckets ®, Pirouettes®, & Vignettes® made by Hunter Douglas and Shangri-La® blinds made by Comfortex. The view is restored, the shade is bug and debris free and your beautiful view returns. Using your CamilyWand as soon as you see the bug protects your investment and view immediately and harmlessly.

Lynn saw a need for a tool to remove bugs & debris from Silhouettes ® in her longtime interior design business, where she is an upper echelon Hunter Douglas Dealer. The Silhouette ® and similar blinds have been on the market since the early 90’s. Because they are great insulating blinds while allowing a filtered view, Lynn sold them to many clients over the years and they asked about the easy removal of bugs and debris, etc. Since the current removal methods weren’t safe and often expensive, Lynn invented and patented her CamilyWand to protect her clients’ window shading investments and views.

Lou Manfredini, the ACE Hardware Man, Marvin Window spokesman, Today Show contributor and WGN Mr. Fix It Man, suggested that a leaf blower wasn’t the tool to use. He said that CamilyWand is “Kind of a neat idea” on his Chicago WGN radio show and it on his recommended product list on his website.

Our tool was also featured on Jack Devers’ radio show in Cleveland, where Matt and Jack discussed it in detail.

CamilyWand won the “Best Technical Innovation” award from the WCMA (Window Covering Manufacturers Association) in 2010, which is a benchmark of excellence in the industry and equivalent to the Oscars of Window Coverings Awards. These awards are given every spring to recognize exceptional products, new inventions and programs. We were thrilled to accept the Award in Atlanta in May of 2010.

camily4In addition to being a revolutionary window shading cleaning tool, CamilyWand has a myriad of other uses, making some call it the “Magic Wand.”  The removable, washable, sticky tip will clean hard to reach places such as ceilings, beams, ceiling fans, tops of furniture, lighting fixtures, and crown moldings. It will pick up papers and light weight items from behind

heavy furniture, between appliances, corners, pot and pan racks, almost any inaccessible place.

When the CamilyTip becomes dirty, it should be washed with soap and water, as shown in our demonstration video online: www.camilywand.com.  There are several more videos on YouTube for your review: CamilyWand8 at You Tube.

Lucky Hunter Douglas Silhouette ® owners who are searching for a way to keep their investment looking like new and bug free will love our CamilyWand.

We have a store on our website: www.camilywand.com for more information and answers to a difficult, messy situation.
