Show 101: “The Basics”
Matt and Shari tackle the basics of decorating and home projects. They start with a basic lesson in decorating styles and how to discern what your own style might be. Then, Matt shows how to build your own work bench. Last, it’s on to four different no sew window coverings with lots of extras at the end of the show like a homemade vegetable soup recipe and fabric letters for kids!
Show 102: “Color Our World”
If it “colors our world,” Matt and Shari are talking about it today. Shari discusses the basics of color theory to help you when selecting color for your home interior. Then, Matt and Shari discuss paint basics along with tips and tricks for painting. Last, they’ll teach the basics of creating floral arrangements which adds color to your home at the same time!
Show 103: “Bedroom Inspirations”
In this show, Shari teaches an easy way to decorate your bedroom or any room in your home by using an inspiration piece. Matt and Shari show how to create the bedroom of your dreams starting with a discussion of all the pieces parts it takes to really dress a bed. Then, Matt and Shari demonstrate how to create a custom designed closet organizer.
Show 104: “It’s a Wrap”
Things that wrap around other things! Matt and Shari walk viewersthrough a brief history of home styles explaining the different looks and details. Then, Matt discusses insulating or wrapping your home to make it more energy efficient. Then, Shari shows how easy it is to make a new cover for (or wrap) an old pillow!
Show 105: “Function First”
Function comes first on today’s show. Matt and Shari teach how to draw floor plans so your rooms function well for you. Next, Matt shows ways to keep the garage functioning. Shari creates a cool ribbon message board to keep you organized at home or in the office and we end on a couple of great books for kids to keep those young minds sharp!
Show 106: “Bright Ideas”
This show focuses on how to have just the right lighting for your home. Matt and Shari discuss the three different kinds of lighting and answer the most common lighting questions. Then, Matt shows how to install motion sensors. Another bright idea is adding wall decals to your room to create interest or bring a theme home and we’ll show you how to do it.
Show 107: “All About Accessories”
The topic is accessorizing. The discussion starts with the best half dozen accessories to use. Then Matt makes a removable tile backsplash. Shari demonstrates how accessories of all shapes and sizes can be put together or “displayed” to make them stand out and make a statement.
Show 108: “A Colorful Exterior”
Color is not just for inside your home. Matt and Shari show viewers how to bring color to the outside as well. The first project is a floor cloth to brighten a front porch, deck, or patio. Then, Matt shows how to build a dog house. Count on Shari to offer practical suggestions for choosing exterior colors for a roof, siding, trim, windows, garage doors, front doors, and accessories.
Show 109: “Reuse, Restore, Recycle”
Get a rewarding feeling by fixing something old up to look new again or find a new way to use something that may have been tossed out. Matt and Shari have great suggests for a recycling party. Then, Matt offers a recycling cart project and Shari uses recycled fabric for a single square framed quilt block.
Show 110: “Reuse, Restore, Recycle”
Start the weekend with a seasonal centerpiece that the whole family can help make. Next, Matt shows how to keep your floors and carpets bright and clean while Shari has some really quick no sew placemats and napkins. What would the weekend be without pizza and a fun craft project made to celebrate the seasons.
Show 111: “Adding Embelishments”
Embellishing items around your home is an inexpensive and fun way to make “one of a kind” decorative accents. Matt and Shari start out having fun making a ribbon tassel. Then, Matt works in the garage at a gift wrapping station. Shari shows how to give a plain set of drapes some pizzazz by adding embellishments of trim, beading, fringe, ruffles and more.
Show 112: “Exterior Details”
Today’s show concentrates on exterior details with a discussion of shutters, window boxes, door knobs, and lighting. Then, Matt has a cool ladder platform project for those tricky high spots both in and outside your home. They’ll be painting and decorating clay pots to add color to a home exterior.
Show 113: “Wonderful Walls”
This show offers some great ideas for creating inexpensive and attractive wall art using fabric, calendars, scrapbook papers and your computer. Matt demonstrates tongue and groove paneling and together Matt and Shari demonstrate various painting techniques to create texture and pattern in your home.

Show 201: “The Kitchen”
Kitchens are the heart of our homes and if they aren’t updated and in good shape, they can bring the entire house down. Matt and Shari demonstrate in one kitchen several quick and easy updates. Matt creates a solution for kitchen soffits, and they finish with a variety of kitchen accessories.
Show 202: “20 Decorating Mistakes”
Mistakes in decorating are very easy to do – no one thinks decorating is an easy thing to master. In this show, Matt and Shari walk from room to room to show off situations that are problems and offer ideas as to how to fix them. This is show you won’t want to miss!
Show 203: “Entries”
Shari and Matt teach you how to create a color and style story for your home, starting at the entry – both inside and out! Matt visits with a flooring expert since your entry floors take so much abuse and we close with a nice lesson in photography and framing.
Show 204: “Dining Rooms”
This episode is a mini room makeover from plain white walls to a rich golden hue with tips for windows, how to accessorize a china cabinet, a bit about the care and repair of fine wood furniture and the introduction of a cool new idea for entertaining.
Show 205: “A Well Kept Exterior”
A well kept exterior implies taking care of your home both inside and out and we’ll have an inspector here to tell us exactly what you should be looking for. Aesthetically, to add a little pizzazz how about adding some colored glass accent windows? We’ll walk you through how to make them coordinate with your interior and then you’ll learn simple ways to winterize your home. Last, for fun, we’ll create accessories for the garden!
Show 206: “Family Rooms”
Does your family still spend time together? You might increase that family time with a quick family room update. Watch and Shari and Matt bring more of today’s hobbies into the family room and even make an easy ottoman! Matt has a great video game component storage cabinet that doubles as an end table and we finish with a creative family project – water coloring!

The master bedroom is always last on the list for a redo. However, with Matt and Shari’s upholstered headboard project, accent wall color and new bedding, this room really makes a transition. Learn some faux finishing and easy embellishing projects as well.

The garage is a treasure trove of space to put your hobby area, a workout spot, even host a summer party and Matt and Shari will show you how. Matt dresses up the garage doors and Shari makes all kinds of food for a tropical indoor party!

Bathrooms need to do two things; function and look good doing it. In this episode Shari and Matt talk about and show bathrooms that fit the bill and why. You’ll learn tips on sewing your own shower curtain, great information on keeping your grout clean and then there are always the accessories!

In this show, Shari and Matt demonstrate step by step how to make pom-poms, pillows for your precious pets, a cool outdoor welcome sign and felt mean bag buddies for the holidays or anytime!

Ask anyone what their number one complaint is about their home and it’s usually storage! In this show you’ll see storage solutions for the kitchen, garage, closets and more. Shari will make wicker basket liners so your clothes won’t snag and Matt has a garden tool storage system to make that everyone will want.

We start with tips on becoming the savviest flea market shopper around, and then teach you how to use what you find to make useful items for your home. You’ll love the soldered yard art from old tools, candlesticks out of furniture legs and more!
Show 213: “Exterior Accessories”
Just as we accessorize inside, our outside could use a few embellishments as well. Start with the garage door – there’s all sorts of things to add to make it a one of a kind design. Then consider the trim details you can add to your home from posts and railings to shutters and sunbursts. Matt shows you how the addition of stone can really enhance your curb appeal and we end the season with a friendly game of ladder toss!
